What do you notice when you’re standing still, but everything else moves?

‘morning.’ is an experimental theatrical detour through the quiet chaos of public transport.

Inspired by the zine ‘it’ll be morning’, the work transforms the daily commute into a collection of fleeting images, missed connections, and awkward glances. The city passes by, and we pass by it.

Conceived/co-devised by Jono Lawrence, ‘morning.’ is about being/not being with people, seeing/being seen, what it is to delay/be delayed.

Dog Rose Theatre Co. returns to Melbourne Fringe after their successful 2024 season of ‘Who Is a Dog Rose’.
