GET REAL

Really Really Really Real.

Devised by St Martins EMBOLDEN 2026 Ensemble

September 29 – October 4
Irene Mitchell Studio
44 St Martins Lane, South Yarra
Presented as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival

To describe life realistically would take longer than to live it – that is why Get Real is shorter than life.

Devised by the EMBOLDEN 2026 Ensemble, this new work is the theatrical outcome of an investigation into not only what is real, but also what is more real than real.

Think close-ups. But also think an establishing shot so wide that it can contain planets.

Think make-up. But also think gentle make-up remover wipes.

Think seance: Young people in a circle conjuring something. Lip sync, mascara, and high resolution.

Oh, also, this is not a show about the AI revolution.
