Emma O’Neill (she/her)

Devisor and Writer  

Emma is an emerging artist based in Naarm (Melbourne), with a passion for storytelling across stage and screen. She has trained at prestigious institutions including NIDA (specialising in film), JMC Academy, and 16th Street Actors Studio. While at 16th Street, Emma had the privilege of performing as Lady Torrance in Orpheus Descending by Tennessee Williams, Maria in Anne Washburn’s Mr. Burns, and Cassidy Lafayette in Appropriate by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins. During her time at JMC, she portrayed Laura Cheveley in An Ideal Husband directed by Matthew Cox, and also worked as Assistant Director on Baby Word, a devised piece by Laura Lattuada and Deborah Leise-Moore.

Emma’s other notable performances include Megan in Puffs at Essendon Theatre Company, The Continental Quilt at Williamstown Little Theatre, and understudying in Drinking Habits at Essendon Theatre Company. When not acting or writing, Emma is studying classical singing or enjoying a good audiobook. Emma is very excited to be working with St Martins and cannot wait to share the ensemble’s hard work with you.
