Elise Margow BA LLB GAICD

Chair

Elise is a mediator, lawyer and author. She is the Principal of Legally Speaking and the co-founder and Managing Director of Australian Books for Children of Africa Ltd. Elise worked for many years in the corporate sector where she held senior roles including Head of Legal at Liberty Financial Pty Limited and Manager Risk and Compliance for Telstra Wholesale. Prior to joining the corporate sector Elise worked at various law firms including Arnold Bloch Leibler in Melbourne. Elise is an active student of the arts, has studied classical piano and holds a licentiate in speech and drama from Trinity College London. She was named in Melbourne’s Age Magazine as one of the top 100 most passionate, powerful and provocative personalities of 2012.


Robynne Berg

Robynne Berg is an internationally qualified innovation consultant and an authority on customer-centric innovation with over 20 years experience helping organisations achieve new growth through innovation and customer-centricity. Robynne has worked with Australian and International business leaders to create innovative solutions to industry disruption and changing customer expectations. Robynne has a Masters of Business (Marketing). She is one of a select number of qualified Blue Ocean Strategy® practitioners in Australia as is a part of an international network of consultants, academics and government officers. Robynne is passionate about working with business leaders to help them reframe, innovate and create new growth and customer value.


Steve Bradby BBUS, CA RCA

Chair, Finance, Audit and Risk Committee

Steven is Audit Partner at PKF Melbourne, enabling the firm to give broader focus to the delivery of Audit and Assurance services. He built his experience from over 25 years working with Ernst & Young, where he provided assurance services and business advice to a range of small proprietary through larger publicly listed and multinational clients, and government business entities. His clients have operations across various industry and service sectors, including manufacturing and distribution, exploration, technology, communications, and engineering, financial and legal services. In his current role Steven is responsible for the coordinated delivery of assurance and related services, for ownership of the audit strategy, and execution of the plan in accordance with our methodology – all of which draw on and display his strong communication skills. Those skills have enabled his service delivery to a range of roles – client Management, Boards of Directors and Audit Committees, and Investors.

Steven chairs the PKF Australia Audit & Assurance Practice Committee, a role which brings together the leaders of the practice area from each of the PKF Australia firms, to advance our National strategic direction.


Meaghan Bare BA LLB MLabRelLaw

Chair, Governance and Nominations Committee

Meaghan heads up the Employment and Workplace Relations practice at KCL Law (previously known as Kliger Partners). She has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of workplace relations, employment law, anti-discrimination law and corporate restructures. Meaghan was involved in the strategic planning and management of KCL for a number of years, as a member of its executive committee.

Earlier in her career, Meaghan was corporate counsel at Live Performance Australia. She has an interest in the arts and in ensuring that we encourage and support children and teenagers to find their artistic and creative spirit.


Anna Pidgeon

Anna Pidgeon has been working in the Australian arts sector for over 10 years since her arrival in the country from the UK.

With a focus on Stage and Production Management, she is passionate about facilitating work that challenges and inspires people and considers herself lucky to have been able to do this with companies of all sizes, including Circus Oz, ThisSideUp, Die Roten Punkte, Arena Theatre, Dislocate and The Listies. She also loves exploring new places and relishes the opportunities she has to tour nationally and internationally.

She is also often found working at the many arts festivals in Australia or taking a trip back to her home country to take on the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.


Kath Papas

Kath established Kath Papas Productions, specialising in contemporary dance and performance. Kath’s preferred mode is to work with a small group of artists from concept and development through to presentation and touring. Her current artists include leading dance artists Yumi Umiumare and Tony Yap, choreographer Clare Dyson, and theatre maker Kate Hunter. Over almost a decade now Kath has worked on co-productions and touring in Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, China and South America.

Kath is also Creative Producer for the ground-breaking performance company Finucane & Smith, working with the company regionally, nationally and internationally, and has been Creative Producer for Melbourne’s Green Room Awards Ceremony since 2016.

Kath was producer of the National Dance Forum for Australia Council for the Arts and Ausdance National for 2011 and 2013, and co-producer of the 2015 edition. She also co-produced the 2015 National Dance Forum for the Australia Council of the Arts.

Her previous board roles include Next Wave Festival, where she was Deputy Chair from 2012 to 2016, Arts Access Victoria and Arts Industry Council Victoria. From 2003 to 2009 she was Director/CEO of Ausdance Victoria, developing and delivering advocacy and industry development, festivals, conferences and awards.


Tony Briggs

Tony is a Yorta Yorta/Wurundjeri (Woiwurrung) First Nations writer, director, producer, and actor. He was Associate Director on Melbourne Theatre Company’s production of Astroman and is writing and developing a slate of film and television projects which have been supported by the ABC, Film Victoria, NITV and Screen Australia. He is dedicated to fostering the next generation of filmmakers with his producing partner Damienne Pradier through their company, Typecast Entertainment, currently facilitating Blak Masterclasses in Film and TV in partnership with Compton School and Youthworx.
